EPL's Top Assisters So Far This Season

|*Aguero

This is true of the players who have been helpful and assisted the most goals in this sparkling and spectacular Premier League season so far.Call them play-makers.

Not only can these players make a goal, but the majority can score them as well. You'd think the midfielders would have the bulk of assists, but check out who has done what
Have a Merry Christmas and New Year ahead.

Pablo Zabaleta: Assists: 5 Goals: 0

The Argentine full-back has been a consistent performer at the Etihad for the last few years. He's not found the net this term, but in his career he's supplied six goals in all competitions for the Blue side of Manchester. He's currently out with a hamstring twinge but is expected back soon.
Jordan Henderson: Assists: 5 Goals: 1

*Henderson
Henderson is a young man who was doubted by many since his big money move to Liverpool from Sunderland. Now out of the shadow of Steven Gerrard and playing with confidence in a position he's most effective, he's currently showing the form he had at Sunderland which earned him his transfer. He's only going to get better.

David Silva Assists: 5 Goals: 4

The little Spanish midfielder hasn't been fully fit this campaign, but he's still managed an impressive return, with several goals and assists.  The return of the midfield maestro could really help City's chances of winning the league.

Samir Nasri: Assists: 5 Goals: 4

The French international seems to be enjoying his time working under Manuel Pellegrini. He's scored and supplied some great passes for his City teammates. Arsenal fans won't be so happy to see his progress as all Premier League teams fight for the title.

Aaron Ramsey: Assists: 6 Goals: 8

A quiet Welshman who has had his up and downs over the last few years. He was given his chance at Cardiff as a schoolboy, got his move to Arsenal, broke his ankle, was doubted, recovered, and is now one of the Premier's hottest talents. Not far off Gareth Bale's story. Humble Ramsey's forward thinking passing, goals and creativity is exciting for all to watch. A reminder to all those short-sighted fans who didn't rate him and wanted rid of him and the gaffer not too long ago.

Steven Gerrard :Assists: 7 Goals: 3

The midfielder and all-rounder is out injured at the moment, but his side are doing pretty well without him. To be fair to Gerrard, his passing and creativity has been immaculate this term before the injury. His long-range pass for the SAS to score at the Stadium of Light was breathtaking. Now a member of the 100 club, his quarterback role in Brendan Rodgers' side is complementing him and a returning Gerrard should only make the Reds stronger.

*Nasri
Eden Hazard  Assists: 7 Goals: 6
Eden Hazard started his Premier League career like a firework last season and he's not doing badly this term in an under-performing Chelsea side. He's managed to create seven goals and scored six times, which makes him a key ingredient to Jose's special omelette down at the Bridge.  With himself a fit Oscar operating in the Chelsea side, the results should pick up.

Mesut Ozil Assists: 8 Goals: 4

Arsenal's monstrous signing is taking his time to completely illuminate the Premier League, but there's no doubt his touch and creativity is well worth the transfer fee. He's got eight assists and a few goals to his name which can only improve a sailing Arsenal side with a star-studded midfield challenging for silverware this year. He's a pleasure to watch and an assist king.

Sergio Aguero: Assists: 8 Goals: 1

Sergio Aguero has been superb this season and that's partly why Manchester City are so formidable at home. His well taken goals have won games for the Citizens and left many football fans thinking their watching one of the greatest finishers in world football at the moment. The sad thing is his calf has blown up and he's out injured until Jan 2014, but his end of the 2013 campaign was heroic.

Wayne RooneyAssists: 10 Goals: 8

It's testament to England and Manchester United's bulldog that he's on here as only him and Eden Hazard don't represent Liverpool, Arsenal or Manchester City on this list.  Without Robin Van Persie for his part of it, Rooney has kept his team going and supplied his teammates with critical passes and finishes. Keep it up lad.

*Rooney
     Luis Suarez  :Assists:11 Goals: 18

The man who was a caged animal at the start of the season is now on absolute fire and everything he touches turns to goals. The Midas striker is raking up the fantasy points with goals and assists from all angles. His superb performance against Norwich at Anfield and his away shift at White Hart Lane were remarkable. A reminder that Liverpool are well up for it this season.

Suarez even passed the ball when he could have scored at the weekend - an unselfish striker, who'd have Adam and Eve'd it?! There's something special happening in Merseyside and Suarez is still starving
