102-year-Old Marchand Refreshes Rwn World Mark

102-year-young, Frenchman Robert Marchand has broken his own cycling world record for most distance travelled in an hour for someone over 100.
The centurion off to a slightly shaky start but soon he was closing in on his trying own world record. He would go on to break it it easily. He was cheeeredon by hundreds who had come to seen this remarkable man.
By the time his hour was up, the Marchand had travelled 26-point-927 kilometers...more than 2nd half kilometers better than his previous best time in the race against the clock two years ago.
The retired firefighter and lumberjack also holds the record for the 100 kilometres. Marchand received a standing ovation and was absolutely thrilled by the reception he was given.  "My feelings are amazing, this is a great crowd. You have to know there are people who came from 600 kilometres (370 miles) away to see me today. It is incredible. That’s all I can say." Robert Marchand said.
