Former Chelsea and Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas was
named Russian side Zenit St
Petersburg's new manager on
Tuesday.
The 36-year-old Portuguese will officially sign for Zenit on
March 20.
"Zenit has agreed terms on a contract with new head
coach Andre Villas-Boas," said the club in a statement. "The contract
will be signed and Mr Villas-Boas will be presented in St Petersburg as Zenit's new head coach on
March 20."
Villas-Boas will receive at least 8.5 million euros
(about 11.8 million U.S. dollars) a season as well as possible bonuses,
according to local media
