Arbeloa was one of the big names not on Del Bosque's preliminary list for
the Brazil World Cup. Of the 30 names of which 7 have yet to be taken out, his
was not to be seen.

full-back wished his Spain
teammates the best of luck and hinted on Twitter that this would be the end of
his relationship with 'La Roja'.

It's the end of a superb era for me and all I have left to do now is wish all
the luck in the world to the Spain
squad and my teammates. Come back with a star on your chests!"
