Rajoy: "I Take My Hat Off To Atleti, But I Want Real To Win In Lisbon"

The Spanish prime minister, Mariano Rajoy, claimed that it is his "duty" to attend the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Atlético. He went on to admit that, though he takes his "hat off" to what Diego Simeone's team have achieved, he wants 'Los Blancos' to win in Lisbon.
Rajoy confirmed that he would be going to the big match in Lisbon, which takes place on the same date as the 'reflection day' set aside in Spain ahead of the European Parliament elections, during an interview with Spanish radio station 'SER': "I think it's my duty to go to Lisbon, and in this instance it also overlaps with my passion", noted Rajoy. The politician also reiterated that he is a long-standing Deportivo de la Coruña fan, but that he has been a Real Madrid member for many years, which is why he will be supporting Ancelotti's men on 24th May.
