NOW Finnish Olympic ski jumping champion Matti Nykanen wasn’t necessarily in a one-off crazy sex scandal, but his lifetime body of work is so impressive he had to make the list.
His list of off-field dramas since his Olympic triumphs in the 1980s makes for amazing reading:• Fell asleep at the wheel and drove off a bridge
• Engaged one week to a 17-year-old Estonian
• Worked for a sex-chat phone line
• Spent Christmas 2009 in jail after assaulting his estranged spouse, a sausage millionairess
• Stabbed a friend after losing a finger-pulling competition
• Worked as a stripper at a restaurant
• Celebrity chef
• Five marriages and bouts with depression and alcoholism
• Released three music albums

 NEW Zealand Warriors player Konrad Hurrell’s sex tape with soap star Teuila Blakely was a little strange.
Mainly because the footy player is only 22 and she’s 39 and she has a son who is Hurrell’s age.
But, seriously, the whole drama had nothing on the sex scandals below...

NAZI ORGIES AND BRITISH SPIES
FORMULA One was rocked when its then-boss Max Mosley was caught on tape in a “Nazi-style” orgy with five prostitutes in a torture dungeon.
As it was reported at the time, the multi-millionaire son of Sir Oswald — who was a friend of Adolf Hitler — was seen barking orders as he lashed women wearing mock death camp uniforms and enjoyed being whipped himself.

IT’S very difficult to say it better than James Weatherup, who was reporting for the News of the World at the time.

YANKEES pitchers Fritz Peterson and Mike Kekich mustn’t have realised the Swinging Sixties were over.
Between 1972 and 73, the pair not only swapped wives but their entire families.
First it was the ladies, Marilyn Peterson and Susan Kekich, who traded places.
But then the kids came along, too.
“We didn’t do anything sneaky or lecherous,” Susan said at the time. “There isn’t anything smutty about this.”
Teammate Jake Gibbs probably put it best when he said: “Fritz and Mike were good friends. They were really close, and their families were close. I guess we just didn’t know how close.”
