Warriors still hopeful

Despite losing to Union Bank by one point (72-71) in their 11th  game of the second phase of DStv-sponsored Men’s basketball league, played Friday inside the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Lagos, Dodan Warriors still remain optimistic that the league title is still within their reach.
The club’s chairman, Colonel Sam Ahmedu (rtd), said they were unfazed with the defeat handed them last week end by Union Bank, saying the league title is still within their reach.
Dodan Warriors have two away matches against Customs and Royal Hoopers with one home game which is their last and decisive match against Police Baton.
“We are not deterred with the Union defeat. We are looking ahead. We have three games to decide the winner and anything can happen. However, we are not relenting. The players have learnt their mistakes and they are ready to go. By God’s grace we will emerge victorious.”
