Ivory Coast coach Sabri Lamouchi on Tuesday
named his World Cup provisional squad composed of 28 players, most of
them team regulars.
However, former Arsenal defender Emmanuel
Eboue of Turkish side Galatasaray and Tiene Siaka of French club
Montpellier, failed to make the list, which the French coach said was
due to technical reasons.
The Elephants will play two friendly matches
against Bosnia on May 30 and Salvador on June 4 in Dallas, USA, where
the Ivorians will carry out preparations until June 6 before travelling
to Brazil for the tournament, according to the coach.
Ivory Coast are drawn in Group C alongside Colombia, Greece and Japan
