Cristiano
Ronaldo knows full well that this is going to be an exciting season for
everyone associated with Real Madrid. Having overcome his knee problems, he
wants to arrive in tip-top condition for Los Blancos' first competitive game of
the season on 12th August when they will challenge Sevilla in Cardiff for the European Super Cup.
Cristiano isn't the type to shy away when it's time to work
on the pitch. Instead he's constantly trying to improve his fitness, which
makes him such an important player.
The Portuguese is still fine-tuning his fitness ahead of
Real Madrid's first competitive games in August and will not play in Los
Blancos' second pre-season game against Roma in the early hours of Wednesday
morning.
Despite not playing in the game against the Italians,
Ronaldo is still driving fans wild in the US. The Portuguese star stays
behind every day to sign hundreds of autographs and take photos with all the
fans that turn up to see Real Madrid train.
The Portuguese striker has been on holiday since his
World Cup campaign. He has enjoyed 29 days of rest and relaxation to overcome
the knocks he's been carrying after a physically demanding 2013/14 season and
re-charge his 'mental batteries' following his early exit with Portugal from
the World Cup.
