Super Eagles midfielder, Ejike Uzoenyi has been granted work permitwhich now entitles him to star for new team Mamelodi Sundowns.
Uzoenyi has so far began his stint at the club shortly after exhusting days granted to rest after the Brazil 2014 World Cup campaigns with the Eagles.
The Super Eagles attacker started training with the Brazilians on Tuesday and according to his agent, Mohammed Lawal, the player’s papers have been sorted out and he is available for selection at Chloorkop.
“He arrived in South Africa last Sunday. He applied for his work visa whilst still in Nigeria. His papers have been sorted out and he is now in possession of his work visa,” Lawal said.
Uzoenyi is expected to be one of the five foreign players Sundowns will register for the 2014/15 season, with him and Khama Billiat yet to be registered with the PSL. The registration deadline is August 29.
