Congo fly into Nigeria Today For AFCON Clash iN Calabar

Congo are expected to fly into Nigeria today after they kept the NFF in the dark over their travel plans for most of the week. Nigeria had to complain to CAF about the hide-and-seek game of the Congolese after they could not get any information from them as regards their arrival and other logistical details ahead of Saturday’s AFCON qualifier in Calabar. Congo were reinstated to the competition after Rwanda were disqualified for fielding an ineligible player.
