Suárez Bids Farewell To Liverpool Mates

The Barcelona striker Luis Suárez was reunited with his old Liverpool teammates at the Melwood training ground in West Derby this morning, the captain of the Merseyside club, Steven Gerrard, has revealed via social media. In an "emotional" encounter, Gerrard explained that Luis Suárez bid farewell to some of the players who helped him to his first Golden Shoe last season - an award which the Uruguayan striker shared with Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored 31 La Liga goals. The Reds legend received a signed Barcelona shirt from the Uruguayan, who he described as "a phenomenal player", as well as giving him his "best wishes" on his new adventure with Barcelona.
