AWC"14: Trouble As Queens Threaten Game Boycott Versus South Africa

Member of the Black Princesses management committee, Madam Rosalind Amoh has revealed that the Black Queens players have been lamenting over their unpaid bonuses ahead of their second Group B match at the 2014 Africa Women’s Championship against South Africa in Windheok.
” They felt the impact when they lost their first game  and so  they  know they will be better off by winning against the South Africans to boost their chances of making it to the World Cup rather than losing.”
“I spoke to them and they complain about the bonuses but they have also accepted that they have  their own fate in their hands so i know they will bounce back to  winning ways against the Bayana Bayana.”
The Queens threatened to boycott their opener against Algeria because the Sports Ministry failed to pay them their bonus of US$6,000 each for qualifying for the continental competition in Namibia. Rosalind Amoh believes Coach Yusif Basigi’s side are ready to put the troubling issue of their unpaid bonuses behind them and face the Bayana Bayana.
