Barcelona Plan Alba’s Longer Stay

Barcelona’s coach staff and management are content with defender Jordi Alba. Hence the Catalans intend to prolong the contract with the Spain national team player. This time, the club might make an exception and contact the footballer’s agents prior to La Liga’s penultimate match day.
Alba is considered as one of the best in the light of the team’s future projects. The current contract with Barcelona is valid till 2017. Alba has played 9 matches and authored a goal in this year’s Spanish championship.
