Real Decide To Grab Lucas Silva

Real Madrid are reported to be intending to acquire Cruzeiro midfielder Lucas Silva. The Whites’ coaching staff and management are of the opinion that the center line is to be strengthened, given Luka Modrić’s injury and Sami Khedira’s functionality.
Head coach Carlo Ancelotti has already given his consent to Silva’s transfer. Now the club are busy negotiating over the sum, trying to get him for € 12m. Silva’s contract with the Brazilian club, valid till 2017, stipulates a compensation of € 15m.
At the same time, there are other European teams interested in the footballer.
