Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo was on Wednesday handed a two-game ban by the disciplinary committee of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) for his sending off against Cordoba on Saturday night.
Ronaldo was given his marching orders for kicking out at Cordoba defender, Edimar, but the fact is that he was lucky not have been sent off earlier after appearing to try and punch one Cordoba defender at a corner kick 10 minutes earlier.

It seems as if Rafael is enjoying himself while recovering from the fractured cheekbone that has ruled him out for the past few weeks.
The Brazilian right back posted a picture on Twitter that shows him dressed in his full golf gear. Perhaps his golf handicap has improved this season as he has struggled to get on the Manchester United team sheet ahead of Antonio Valencia.
Rafael recently returned to the Manchester United bench but will be hoping for playing time this weekend when United face Leicester. The last time the two clubs met was in September when the Foxes beat the Reds 5-3.

Neymar has revealed that he hopes to play in the Olympic Games hosted by Brazil in 2016.

Neymar told the official website of Rio Olympics: "If Brazil haven't won this long awaited Gold medal in football, then it's because our time hasn't yet come. I hope to be part of the group and bring the title to all Brazilians, even more so playing at home. A win at the MaracanĂ£ would be something amazing and unforgettable."
