Arsenal's Giroud Says I’m As Good As Diego Costa'

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has responded to his critics by claiming he is as good as Chelsea striker Diego Costa.

Brazilian born Costa has been taking all the plaudits this season and sits at the top of the goalscoring charts with 17 goals. Olivier Giroud only has eight but this hasn't dampened his confidence.

"I don't have an inferiority complex. I don't have their name, but -- in terms of stats -- I am just behind Costa and Aguero."

Olivier Giroud's claims may well have some truth in them. He was injured for the early part of the season meaning he has played less games than Costa. This means his goals to minute ratio is actually superior.
