TIT-BITS: UCL:Madrid Set For The Real Deal

It wasn’t the 6-1 thrashing they dealt out to Schalke last season, but Real Madrid’s win in Germany on Thursday showed why they’re favourites to defend their crown.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s month-long ‘goal-drought’ came to an end with a pinpoint header before he set up Marcelo for Los Blancos’ stunning second strike.
 MARCELO MAGIC
Manager Carlo Ancelotti had a warning for Real’s European rivals after the game..
“Cristiano is back,” Ancelotti said of the forward - who now has 58 goals in 58 Champions League games and scored in his 12th consecutive away game in the competition.
The 2-0 triumph was also Real’s 10th UCL win in a row, equalling the record Bayern Munich set in 2013 and took Ronaldo to level with Lionel Messi and Raul on 76 goals in the competition.
CUADRADO’S PLAYBOY MODEL TUTOR
One man who doesn’t need a matchmaker is new Chelsea signing Juan Cuadrado.
Reports from England claimed the Colombian enlisted the services of a tutor to help him pick up English, and funnily enough she was a Playboy model.
Carla Howe – who speaks Spanish – has been linked to footballers Luke Shaw, Mario Balotelli and Patrice Evra in the past, though not in this capacity – messaged him over Instgram: “When’s the first lesson start lol”.
But Cuadrado’s girlfriend Melissa Botero needn’t worry, Chelsea have claimed they will be providing language lessons to their $55.3 million man.
JOSE FUMES AT HAZARDOUS TACTICS
Another day, another Jose Mourinho rant.
This time the Chelsea manager has hit out at the treatment Eden Hazard received from Paris Saint-Germain players in Wednesday’s 1-1 draw in Paris.
The fleet-footed Belgian was fouled nine times – the most a player has received in the competition this season – prompting Mourinho’s stinging criticism.
