Zidane: "Never trust the Germans"

Believes Real shouldn't underestimate Schalke

In an interview with Die Welt, Zinedine Zidane has spoken about how he sees Real Madrid's future in the Champions League. The Castilla manager was asked for his opinion regarding Real's upcoming game against Schalke. "I would like to say that Schalke haven't got a chance, but I don't think that that's the case. Anything can happen; they'll give their all over the two games. You can never trust in an easy victory and even less so against a German team."
He was also asked about a possible Real Madrid-Bayern final. "That would be the logical conclusion, but football has nothing to do with logic and even less so in the Champions League. From here on in, there's no easy game and there are other great teams that are looking to be in the final."
The Germans are still a little miffed about the Ballon d'Or, as Neuer came so close to being awarded it. "Neuer is a magician between the sticks, but then there is Ronaldo who is from another planet, out of this world. He outdoes himself every year", the Frenchman enthused.
