Manchester United’s stuttering season at critical point following 2-1 FA Cup loss to Arsenal 

EVEN before Tuesday morning’s FA Cup loss to Arsenal, Louis van Gaal claimed Manchester United’s priority was finishing in the top four and securing a spot in next season’s Champions League.

Now that the Red Devils are out of the Cup – defeated 2-1 by Arsenal at Old Trafford - van Gaal’s squad can focus on domestic duties, not that they’ll really want to.
