Coach Stephen Keshi, has said that he’swants to be incharge
of the Super Eagles and not ready to work under any foreign coach as being
demanded by the Nigeria Football Federatrion, NFF.
Keshi, revealed there were some contentious issues in the contract not
acceptable, stating he has discussed with the NFFover the issues. “My lawyer
went through the contract and there were a lot of things in it I don’t like. I
spoke with the President before I left and told him I wasn’t comfortable with
some of the provisions of the contract.“There was no clause for a pay rise, there was a suggestion of bringing in a foreign coach but I find that difficult to understand. If you want a coach show him you have total trust in his abilities and these are areas I want to discuss with the NFF.”
Keshi has handled three differeny countries, Togo, Mali and Nigeria to the African Cup of Nations while taking Togo and Migeria to the World Cup. It is understandable thus he rejects any notion of working under any other masster of the game,
