Brazil legend Pele is said to be in a stable condition in hospital after receiving surgery for an enlarged prostate.
The surgery took place on Tuesday and the 74 year old has been resting ever since at the Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo. The same hospital treated him for two weeks for a urinary infection last year.
The enlargement of the prostate is said to be a common condition in ageing men and Pele is now awaiting tests to see if he is able to be released.
