REAL: Pressure Grows On Benítez

The problems just keep piling up, the most recent caused by James and Benítez, and the Bernabéu club's board grow increasingly more nervous.
The squad remain united, as they show with every professional performance out on the pitch, but very few of them had expected to have so many problems to deal with just three months into the new season.
Benítez has struggled to ensure that everyone gets along and there is increasingly more uncertainty at the club. Siding with Doctor Olmo was enough for some players to lose their faith in him. It is now up to the manager to get the players back on his side and believing in his methods. It will not be easy, but the Real Madrid boss knows that he has a very competitive team and he should use that to get everyone singing from the same hymn sheet.
Ronaldo is the one player yet to comment, but his actions speak a thousand words. He does not like how defensive the team can be at times or that he often lacks the service he requires to score more goals. Sergio Ramos did not bite his tongue after the coach singled him out for criticism following his mistake against Atlético. There is very little communication between Rafa and Cheryshev and Kroos is struggling with being played out of position. Now it is James, who was not impressed by how Benítez told the media, after the game against Sevilla, that he was not fit enough to play more following his injury.
