Rosewood’s CordeValle resort is offering a golf weekend for
groups of four to play at two of California’s
top courses, followed by a wine tasting and a private barbecue dinner. The Four
for Fore Retreat (from $735 per person per night on weekdays, $850 per person
per night on weekends) includes a minimum of two nights in one of CordeValle’s
3,100-square-foot Fairway Homes, which each have four master bedrooms, a living
room, a kitchen, a dining room, and a patio overlooking the golf course. Each
day begins with a continental breakfast followed by a round of golf: first at
CordeValle’s Robert Trent Jones Jr. Championship course, then at Pasatiempo
Golf Club’s Alister Mackenzie–designed course in Santa Cruz. For the evenings, CordeValle’s
sommelier will lead an in-suite wine tasting from the resort’s 85-acre winery
and the resort’s chef, Timothy Wetzel, will host a cookout for the group that
will include dry rubbed brisket, tri-tip steak, ribs, and s’mores over a fire
