Real Players Feel Carlo's Wrath

Coach upset with players for "throwing away the league"

Carlo Ancelotti was extremely angry with his team's attitude at the Balaídos stadium. The Italian was disappointed with both the manner of the defeat and the image shown by his team and let his players know about it in the changing room.
When he reached the changing room, Ancelotti was angry and raised his voice to the squad, in spite of the number of absentees at the Balaídos. He was particularly upset after his side lost a game which he had previously warned his players about. "We've thrown away the league".
After Real's two draws against Valencia and Valladolid, Carletto expected his fringe players – after five regular starters (Carvajal, Pepe, Di María, Benzema and Ronaldo) were ruled out - would do the business. But things did not turn out this way and mistakes by the experienced Xabi Alonso and Ramos also proved costly.
The players were not surprised by the telling off and perhaps expected it to come. Isco and Ramos took the blame in front of journalists and even apologised to the fans. Morata wrote on Twitter: "The fans deserve an apology for the game in Vigo, but we'll pick ourselves up and together we'll obtain what we are aiming to achieve".
Despite Ancelotti's harsh words, the players are still firmly behind their manager. The majority of ‘Los Blancos’ are extremely satisfied with the Italian and want him to remain at the club.
