The 2016 Copa America would be hosted by the United States in June 3-26, announced the CONMEBOL and the CONCACAF on Thursday.
It would be the first time for the 100-year-old tournament to be held in the Northern America.
The 2016 version of Copa America marked the 100th anniversary of the
tournament and also the foundation of CONMEBOL. It would be a special
tournament scheduled to celebrate the one-century history.
The 2015 and 2019 Copas, which were scheduled to be held in Chile and Brazil respectively, would take place as planned.
