In preparation for the 2015 CAF Champions League, Nigeria's champions and representative, Kano Pillars Champions Leaguehave lined up tough games for warn up. Pillars meet Hearts of Oak on Thursday and rounds up the one week tour of Ghana with the test game against Ghana Under-23 side on Sunday.
Pillars will return to Kano on February 9 to prepare for their trip to
South Sudan for the Champions League preliminary round clash with
Al-Malakia on the weekend of February 13-15 at the Juba Stadium.
Pillars left Accra on Tuesday after participating in a “Super Six ” pre-season tournament in Nigeria involving Nigeria's under-20 side, the under23 side, Enyimba FC, Dolphin FC and Warri Wolves. The national U-20 side won the tourney.
