AYC2015: 'Zambia will be difficult', Says Tetteh

Ghana coach Sellas Tetteh expects a tougher test from Zambia when the Black Satellites play their second game at the 2015 African Youth Championship.

The young Chipolopolo come into the second Group B encounter wounded after an opening day defeat to Mali and will fight it all for their survival in the Caf U-20 Championship.

The Black Satellites did well to brush South Africa aside with two goals but their second half performance against the Amajita has been well-criticized by officials and fans. This, coach Tetteh is demanding improvement from his lads as ensuing games will prove tougher.

“We wasted a lot of chances. After the red card [to South Africa], we were not effective. It is good to get the three points, but there is still room for improvement. We hope to continue from there,” the 2009 AYC winner said.

“The [Zambia] encounter will be challenging; they are wounded, they are dented so they will be coming firing on all cylinders.

“We watched them and we know they are a strong side, a very physical side but we cannot also count in it as their true picture because they could change at any given time.”

“The only thing is for us to prepare very well. What we saw from them, we work towards it and make sure that our plan B will be working so that at least if there are difficulties, we could also turn around to meet the difficulties and overcome it,” coach Sellas Tetteh added.
