Del Bosque: "Ancelotti Has Enriched Football"

Spain manager Vicente del Bosque said that Real Madrid's 4-0 away victory over Bayern de Munich in the Champions League semifinal was "an exhibition" of football and declared that Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti "has enriched football".
"It was an exhibition by Real Madrid and a great game in all ways, with possession and firepower. Real Madrid were far superior to Bayern, who came close to goal but had little chances and in the end were not accurate enough", Del Bosque said. The ex-Real Madrid manager also spoke about the Madrid club's present manager, who he felt "is good for football and has enriched it".
"Apart from the good relations and manners that he has shown, he has also managed a complicated squad. He has built the team up little by little – not from the very first day, but over time the men have come together and the basis of a good team has been molded."
At the other end of the Champions League semifinal game stands Pep Guardiola. "It's Guardiola's worst day. I admire him for his work at Barcelona and the challenge he faces at Bayern, a difficult club, but he has a strong personality and it is a real skill to deal with a squad like theirs, in a different language. He is a fine example of a Spanish manager", he observed.
