Figo, a veteran of 127 caps, told laureus.com:
"I do not think Spain will win the World Cup. I don't think they have
the quality to do so. It will be difficut for them to win, but not
impossible."
"I think it helps to be playing at home. I know the Brazil coach (Luiz Felipe Scolari) well and I think he's a great coach for this type of tournament and the coutnry will help to support the team."
"It will be very, very difficult for other teams against Brazil."
Figo went on to suggest that his own Portugal may struggle in the tournament, admitting that anything they do in the competition "depends heavily on Cristiano Ronaldo."
