"I Have A Family In Manchester"
Cristiano Ronaldo commented on the aerial banner that Manchester fans arranged to have flown by a plane over the stadium during Real Madrid's away game at Villarreal.
"I've always said I have a family in Manchester, but right now I'm happy here and I want to stay. I'm touched that they still think so fondly of me, but I'm really happy here", he said.
The Portuguese was angered by the harsh tackle that forced him off several minutes before the final whistle in Bulgaria: "It was an intentional foul, an ugly tackle that more like some you'd see on a rugby pitch", he added.
