Nigeria Premier Women League Begins

All twelve teams are in action two groups as the Nigeria Premier Women League starts Friday across the country.
In Group A, Delta Queens host in Asaba, a rejuvenated Confluence Queens of Lokoja. What has been dubbed star match of the week holds in Osogbo, between Osun Babes and Ibom Angels. FC Robo host  Bayelsa Queens in Lagos. Whilei in Yola, Adamawa Queens welcome debutants in the elite division, Martins White Doves of Benin.
In Group B,  two matches take place, as defending champions Rivers Angles of Port Harcourt and Sunshine Queens of Akure have issues yet to be resolved by the Nigeria Football Federation. In Benin, Edo Queens would be at home to Nasarawa Amazons, while FC Taraba will have a huge date with champions of old Pelican stars of Calabar.


The lower division Nigeria Professional Women League still made up of twelve teams will kick off two weeks from May 1
