In the searing Sunday sun, Borussia Dortmund travelled to Ingolstadt looking to continue their winning form - without the drama of their Europa League game against Odds. It took a while, but they got there in the end.
After a first half of missed chances, Dortmund took a hatful in the second half to beat Ingolstadt in the host's first ever home game in the Bundesliga and sit top of the table at the end of match-day two. Matthias Ginter's first ever goal in Dortmund colors proved an unlikely breakthrough, but a Marco Reus penalty - Shinji Kagawa's third of the season - and a late close-range effort from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang added some gloss to the scoreline.
