Despite losing the opportunity to qualify last Sunday for the Olympic Games in Rio next year, the Nigeria Football Federation has announced. The defeat by Equatorial Guinea makes it two straight time the team has missed Olympic Games action as Cameroun stopped the Nigerian ladies from filing being part of action in the London 2012 Olympics. The team which appears to have put the set back behind, is looking forward. Interim coach Chris Danjuma, has invited to the camp 35 players for women's football tournament of All Africa Games set for the Congo in September. Nigerian play in Group A of the competition, alongside host Congo-Brazzaville, Tanzania and Cote d'Ivoire.
