Suárez has himself been responsible for two goals - one against Sevilla, getting on the end of a great pass from Sergio Busquets and the second being the all-important winner at San Mames, when he smashed the ball in past Gorka Iraizoz following a great cross from Jordi Alba.
And then there are the assists, two in total. One came against Sevilla when the Uruguayan sprinted uncontested up the field and failed in his attempt to slip past Beto. He did pick up the rebound, however, which he passed to Rafinha to finish. The Camp Nou provided the backdrop for the second, against Athletic, when he chested the ball to Messi for the Argentine to do the rest.
Suárez also had a hand in a fifth goal, albeit without being credited with an assist: the ex-Liverpool man was brought down on the edge of the area for the first of Messi's two free-kick strikes in the UEFA Super Cup.
