The much expected friendly match between Super Eagles and Nigerian league
champions, Kano Pillars earlier scheduled
to hold on Friday, December 27, has been moved to Monday, December 30.
Team coordinator, Emmanuel Attah who announced the change of date in Abuja, said the it was necessitated by another test game the Eagles will play in Port Harcourt against a selected Dolphins FC and Sharks FC side on Saturday.
The matches have been lined up to tune up the home based Super Eagles for the African Nations Championship, CHAN, coming up in South Africa in 2014. The Nigerian national team had also won the African Cup of Nations in January 2013 still in South Africa.The team had played similar games against Plateau United, Niger Tornadoes CHAN is the general competition for players in the domestic continental leagues.
