FAREWELL NEMANJA

 ..

...Ryan Giggs Too
Manchester United skipper Nemanja Vidic said farewell to the Old Trafford crowd against Hull, in his last home game before departing for Inter Milan.  “It was hard in many ways - first because it was my last game at Old Trafford, as well we didn’t have a great year. I think it is the first year in my eight years that we didn’t celebrate a trophy, which is hard,” he said.  “It was a tough season and we had a tough game at Old Trafford. It was very emotional.  “I have to say that my heart will always be at this club. I have spent so many years here. I have been part of this good time at United and worked with so many great people. I will always be here and always watch United.”
Ryan Giggs also enjoyed a cameo appearance, swapping the clipboard for boots once again, before a stirring post-game speech to the Old Trafford faithful, after he blooded rookies Tom Lawrence and James Wilson.
“I would just like to say, keep supporting us, you have seen a little glimpse of the future, and this is what this club is about.
“It never stands still, we always give youth a chance and we try and play attractive football.
“Sometimes we don’t win, but we give it our all. Keep supporting us and the good times will come back soon.”
