Enyimba Can Remain Unbeaten Till The Season Ends, Says Ikhana
Enyimba head coach, Kadiri Ikhana has said there is a possibility that his said would keep an unbeaten run till the end of the season.
Ikhana decleared his optimism on the club's website after won an emphatic 3-0 against Taraba Ubited in a week 25 tie in Aba, South Est Nigeria."I believe we can sustain this form till the end of the season," Ikhana told EnyimbaFC.net. "It is still a long way to go and anything can happen but I know that the boys have what it takes to remain unbeaten till the end of the season."
"It's a matter of will. They have been very good so far and if they decide they want to finish the season without a defeat they can do it, the quality is there."
Enyimba have been on a great run since the start of August, winning three at home and drawing two away and Ikhana is confident the good run can carry on.
"There are a lot of quality players in the team, players who can win anywhere so I'm not worried about our form. They have shown today, like they showed in Umuahia (against Abia Warriors) that they can score goals so I believe the future is bright for the team.
"We can go all the way, we just have to maintain the right attitude and believe in ourselves," he said.
Kadiri Ikhana guided Enyimba to the first of their two CAF Champions League triumphs in 2003 before departing and making a return a decade later to mastermind the team's resurgence in the 2013/2014 league season.
