Golden State Warriors New Stadium Looks Like A Toilet Bowl
THE NBA’s Golden State Warriors have been quick to flush this design for their new stadium after it was widely canned on the internet — and rightly so.
The 18,000 seat arena set to be built in San Francisco would probably be better suited for intrastate rival Sacramento Kings, because it looks like a throne.

The release of the designs created an uproar on Twitter, including this clever post which referenced Warriors guards Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson — who are known as the Splash Brothers because of their three point shooting ability.
The Warriors were quick to remind everyone the drawings are not the final product.
“I guess that’s the perils of the internet,” Warriors spokesman PJ Johnston said of the reaction.
“First impressions are first impressions. We’re confident though that when this design is further refined and really comes together, people will not only see what we’re trying to accomplish like with the raised bayfront deck, but they will definitely see a more nuanced and beautiful rendering that will frankly just better showcase the design that than these do.”
We hope so, because right now these plans rank alongside the Al-Wakrah sports stadium — which is being built for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar — as the most unfortunate stadium design in recent years.
