Ronaldo Is Mr inCRedible
There's just no stopping Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese forward has been the undoubted star of Real Madrid's magical week, scoring eight of the 18 goals that 'Los Blancos' have amassed in the last three games (against Basel, Deportivo and Elche).
Ronaldo was absolutely deadly again in Tuesday night's match, taking his tally to seven goals in 72 hours. In just three days he has streaked miles ahead in the La Liga scoring charts, with a whopping 12 goals in just eight league appearances this season.
With 187 goals in 169 La Liga matches, the former Manchester United man has now surpassed Real legend Carlos Alonso González (better known as 'Santillana') to break into the top ten scorers in Spanish top-flight history. In all competitions, Ronaldo now boasts 265 goals in six seasons in Madrid and if he continues to be so prolific, Raúl's club record of 323 goals won't last much longer.
The Elche game also marked the 13th straight Bernabéu league fixture in which Cristiano has got on the scoresheet, not to mention the third time he has netted four times in a single encounter - Racing Santander and Sevilla were his previous victims - and the 25th occasion on which he has scored three or more goals for 'Los Blancos'. Simply inCRedible.
