Nigeria
improved it's chances of an 2015 African Nations Cup qualifier when
the Super Eagles won a resounding 3-1 victory over Sudan in Abuja
Wednesday. The win gave Nigeria it's first win in the serties
following earlier loses to Congo and Sudan and a goalless draw to
South Africa. Forward Ahmed Musa scored a brace with Samuel Olanare
contributing another while Salah Ibrahim pulled one back for the
Sudanese.
By the victory
Nigeria moves a place up on four points and in third place in the
group.
In other matches Angola trashed Lesotho 4-0, Cameroun beat Sierra Leone 2-0, Togo beat Uganda 1-0, Ghana trounced Guinea 3-1, Ivory Coast lost 1-3 to DR Congo and Zanbia beat Niger 3-0
