Canada 2015: Tandoh tips Falcons to shine


Former NEPA FC of Lagos captain, Francis Tandoh, has tipped the Super Falcons of Nigeria to shine in this year’s FIFA Women World Cup finals holding in Canada in June.
The ex attacking midfielder, who spoke Lagos recently, is highly confident that the Super Falcons will be one of the two team that would emerge from their Group despite the high rating enjoyed by United States, Sweden and Australia. Tandoh who based his view on the quality of players that compose Falcons, noted that the team has rising talents intermixed by those with experience.
According to him, “Nigeria is a force to reckon with in women football; hence the country is highly rated by FIFA.” He noted that
“Nigeria had come close to FIFA Women World Cup glory in the past only to be eluded by the element of luck. The

The Falcons file out on June 8 in search of the title in Wnnipeg against Sweden and next face the United Australia on June 12 while the last group tie come against the United States on June 16.
