Kukuruku FC of Edo State has reached the main draw for the National
finals of the 2015 Nigeria Federation Cup competition after overpowering God’s
Time FC from Delta State 3-2 in a keenly contested play-off round on Tuesday.
Tuesday’s
knock -out matches between the so-called rookie teams saw eight teams
progress into the National finals, which kicks off with the Round of 64
mid-May, after the Draw slated for the end of this month.
Youthful Nath Boys of Lagos, a club with players of the average age
of 17, was edged narrowly 2-1 by Peacemaker FC of Osun State, and Inter
FC of Enugu saw the back of Black Cats of Cross River 2-1.
