FIFA Women World Cup: Nigeria's Ambassadors Land In Toronto

 *Team received, Addressed by Nigeria's Deputy High Commissioner to Canada

Nigeria's Super Falcons have landed in Toronto, venue of their training tour with high hopes ahead of the World Cup kicking off in June .
The team left Abuja on on Wednesday by Air France to Parisbefore connecting to Toronto.
On arrival at the Toronto Pearson International airport, Falcons were welcomed by Nigeria Deputy High Commissioner, Charles N. Onianwa who charged the girls to make Nigeria proud.
"I must first and foremost welcome you to Canada because the tournament we are all looking forward to is a very important one. Last year,  the Falconets did us proud here and now we have the Super Falcons, so expectations are high and we have no doubt that you are going to clinch the cup" said Onianwa. Coach Edwin Okon, who responded on behalf of theteam said Nigeria's arrival heralded the coming of the champions. "Our arrival is that of champions. We are ready and I look forward to the finals and getting the cup here in Canada" Okon enthused.
The team will commence training on Thursday and begin their quest for honours against Sweden in Winnipeg on June 8.
