Brazil2014:Ogunkua drums support for the Eagles

Victor Moses
Ex-international footballers in the Nigeria have been drumming their support for Super Eagles in their quest to book a ticket for the Brazil 2014 FIFA world Cup finals.
One of them is the former IBWA Sharp Shooters FC of Lagos goal tender, Tope Ogunkua, who believes that the Super Eagles have what it takes to fly over the Walya of Ethiopia in their November 16, second leg play off for the World Cup, slated for U. J. Esuene Stadium, in Calabar, Nigeria.“The journey is half done," he said adding " Two away goals in in Dis Ababa favour of Nigeria is massive. We are one step to Brazil, but the Super Eagles should not be complacent. They should remain focused and beat Ethiopia because our target is to pick the ticket to Brazil,” he stated. “Super Eagles have come a long way, hence they cannot afford to fumble at this stage. I believe they Eagles should play total football as they did in 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa in order to make the journey a day dream for the Ethiopians and celebrations for all Nigerians.”
Although he expressed implicit confidence in the players' ability to perform , Ogukua would offer some tactical tips for the decider. “I cannot see Ethiopian stopping us. I am very optimistic about this”, he enthused, pointing out that duo of Emmanuel Emenike and Victor Moses is a solid partner that would sink the Walya of Ethiopia no matter how aggressive they come. He however, advised the super Eagles to note that “it is not only the player who scored a goal gets all the credit. If you are at a scoring range but not a better position to score, please pass the ball to the person in a better position, the incumbent chairman of Managers FC. of Isolo Lagos stated
