FIFA Women World Cup: Falconets Trash Tunisia: Falcons Get Set For For Sierra Leone

Nigeria U-20 Women national team, Falconets over the weekend in Tunis defeated  their Tunisian opponents 4-0 away and  8-0  on aggregate in the quest to pick one of Africa’s tickets to the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Canada.
 .Goals by Captain, Patience Okaeme,  Winifred Eyebhoria and Uchechi gave Nigeria the needed boost towards actualizing the qualification target.
The Falconets had two weeks back in Abuja trashed the Tunisians by a similar margin.  Sierra Leone where had been the first victims of Nigeria’s ruthless hunger for goals as they had lost by 16-0 on aggregate.
Two teams will represent Africa at the tournament which holds from August 5 t0 24, 2014.
In another development, coach of the senior women’s team Super Falcons , Edwin Okon had in Abuja  submitted a list of 30 players for camping in preparation for the African Women Championship (AWC) qualifiers against Sierra-Leone in February next year.
 Nigeria will host the first leg tie on February 14 at the Abuja National Stadium while the reverse fixture takes place in Freetown, Sierra Leone a fortnight later.
