The Nigeria women
Premier League season will kick off may 2 across the country, the
congress of the league has decided in Abuja. The 12 team format was
also retained, as a decision was made not to relegate teams
By the same token
the lower Nigeria proffessional women league will also kick off two
weeks later also with twelve teams devided into two groups A and B.
Nigeria's
participation in two high profile events this year, the All Africa
Games in Congo and the FIFA Women World Cup means the leagues would
be interupted to allow clubs whose players are on national represent
the country.
