Kigigha Expects End To NFF crises At Congress Election

By Eddie Akalonu The CAF and FIFA referees fitness Instructor, Assistant Comissioner of Police, Felix Kigigha is predict end to the crisis in the Nigeria Football Federation, very soon, stating that the warring factions would join forces using the Election Congress coming up ON eSeptember 2 in Abuja “It is my hope and prayer that that FA board-members are going to the forth coming congress to reconcile their differences and return to one body with one sole purpose of moving football forward in the country’s interest.. I for one believes that they will all go to that congress to contest whatever position individuals seek and that at the end of the day “win or lose, board- members and stakeholders will become one and give peace a chance,” he stated. The former FIFA top referee also expressed high hopes that Members, who acted within a time frame to avert a FIFA ban a few weeks back, would see the need to act in like manner for peace, saying “everyone must realize the issue is not about individuals but football that holds a lot of potentials for promising young boys and girls, communities, states and the country as a whole. They must find an amicable ground to agree on all issues in dispute because right now everyone is happy in Nigeria our young girls have qualified for the final of the FIFA Women U- 20 World Cup in Canada.” Meanwhile, ACP Kigigha has said that the Super Falconets can win the cup against Germany but must prosecute the game with a different attitude and approach. I’m happy with them because it can only take a team with lots of guts to beat such a team from Korea but at the same time, I am concerned about our defending style and that’s an area I hope our coach can work on against the Germans.”
