Okonta Tasks Boxing Boss On Dvelopment

By Eddie Akalonu Former chairman of the Nigeria Amateur Boxing Federation, NABA, Chief Frank Okonta, commended the leadership style of current president of the federation, General Ken Minima who has ensured that the abandoned boxing. He has also told the federation to work for development of the sport through modernization of facilities at the boxing village in Lagos, as well as ensure year round training for all facets of personnel. Remember that in those days boxing drew more crowd than football. So, General Minima should pay attention to development and not competitions aloneI is my hope that we will be there in no distant future,” he said.
