I Would Like To Be A Coach, Says

ARGENTINE STAR EXPRESSES WISH AFTER RETIREMENT!
Javier Mascherano says he would like to coach when he hangs up his boots. "Today as a player you see things easier, but it gets complicated when you're on the other side. I want to pass on everything I have been taught. Football is a cycle", he said in an interview with Radio Metro.
Mascherano plays in the centre of defence for Barcelona, although his position for Argentina and his previous clubs has been in the centre of midfield. "I have never refused to change position", he said, before adding that: "I didn't have much to lose" when Barcelona put him in defence. "At that time, Guardiola had a lot of injured centre-backs. He trusted in my ability".
The 31-year-old was part of the side that lost the 2014 World Cup final in Brazi land also the final of the Copa América against home side Chile last month.
"You look back and you regret it. But there's always a chance of losing. Winning is a circumstance", Mascherano said.
He also spoke about a hypothetical Club World Cup final playing for Barcelona against River Plate, where he made his debut. "It does not bother me, but it would be a strange situation. I feel very identified with River". He added that the Club World Cup for Barcelona "is a very important trophy" because "it represents the possibility of being the best team in the world".
